The Air Logic Division of Knapp Manufacturing, Inc. (formerly Fred Knapp Engraving Co.) designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of pneumatic and vacuum control equipment. Knapp Manufacturing, Inc. was founded by Fred Knapp (See related story below) in January, 1945 in the basement of his home. This home-based shop specialized in all types of steel marking stamps, engraved signs and dials.
Fred Knapp's many years of experience and craftsmanship earned Knapp Manufacturing, Inc. a strong reputation of excellence in quality. Today, family owned and operated, Knapp Manufacturing, Inc.'s reputation continues to grow. Since the main structure was completed in 1955, seven additions have been made to meet the expanding needs and diversified growth.
The company has since moved on from machine engraving and is now recognized as a precision plastic injection molding & tool and die maker. Knapp Manufacturing, Inc. has been innovative in many different areas of plastic injection molding with a complete custom tool room and plastic injection molding facilities.
